Work Experience

During my time at university, I gained experience in Media and PR by working with different companies to produce interesting content; from social media campaigns to exciting events. Below showcases some of the work that I created for some of my placements, as well as some course related work.

Remedy Roots is a herbal tea brand that produces herbal wellbeing teas and spiced lattes. The brand needed help with launching a holistic wellbeing lifestyle online magazine.

My responsibilities were to help generate research (e.g looking at SEO's) and create content for the online magazine. I was also involved in planning social media content and creating content plans for them.

For my PR Communication Manangement module, I designed and delivered a communications plan presentation for M&S. I was given a live brief which I had to respond to. The presentation included an analysis of their current communication platforms before then setting out reasonable recommendations for future development of M&S's communications.

Women's Empowerment

Project

For one of my course related projects, I helped create a Women's empowerment campaign to celebrate 100 years of Women's Rights. I loved producing this project as it had an important meaning behind it and involved so many different people.

I was part of a group for this project, I put myself forward to be the leader of the overall project. This helped my leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a group. My main responsibilities were thinking of campaign ideas as well as researching, producing the videos and overseeing all work produced.
